    How it works

    From application to financial outcome.

An unbroken chain of evidence — from your field intervention to a verified digital asset that can be used in disclosures, sold in markets, or pledged in project finance structures.

    Step 01 · OnboardingProject developer

    Apply with your project

Register your farm under the Regenerative Agriculture methodology v1.0. You submit the location, intervention type, baseline soil organic carbon and land-use history, and ownership or management rights. An automated eligibility screen runs against the methodology's applicability criteria before your team invests further time.

Step 02 · Data intakeProject developer

    Submit your measurement data

Connect your data sources — soil sampling, farm management records, drone surveys, or in-field sensors. The methodology specifies exactly which parameters are required at what resolution. Data is schema-validated on ingest, so gaps and format errors surface immediately rather than at the end of the verification cycle.

    Drone & field surveys
Soil samples, crop and cover-crop records, tillage practices
    Remote sensor feeds
Soil carbon and moisture probes, weather stations
    Validation on ingest
Units, spatial coverage, temporal gaps flagged immediately

    Step 03 · VerificationCarbontribe platform

    AI and scientists verify together

All submitted data runs through automated science checks against the version-locked methodology. Carbontribe AI detects anomalies, cross-references independent signals, and drafts structured findings with confidence scores. In-house scientists review every flagged item and provide the final sign-off.

    Carbontribe AI
Anomaly detection across the full dataset. Cross-references satellite, sensor, and survey signals. Drafts findings and confidence scores at scale.
    In-house scientists
Domain experts in soil science and agronomy review every flag. They apply judgment the model cannot — and sign off the final result.

    Step 04 · Digital-first MRVCarbontribe platform

    Independent evidence, whatever the source

Beyond the data you submit, Carbontribe layers independent evidence from the best available sources for your context — satellite and aerial imagery, remote sensing, computer vision, physical models, acoustic sensors, or third-party databases. The MRV stack is assembled per-methodology and per-site: what matters is corroborating your ground data with independent signals, not which specific technology produces them.

    Step 05 · Anchor & IssuanceCarbontribe platform

Anchor to IPFS, mint as a digital token

Every input that isn't protected intellectual property — raw data, parameters, model code versions, satellite scene IDs, and the full verification trail — is content-addressed and pinned to IPFS. On scientist sign-off, the verified outcome is minted as an NFT on-chain whose metadata points back to that evidence bundle. The token is the canonical, transferable record of the result: one source of truth, queryable by anyone, revocable when methodology updates require it.

Burn to disclosures, unlock financial benefits

When a buyer retires (burns) the asset, its verified values can be mapped into structured disclosure outputs — TNFD LEAP narratives, CSRD ESRS E4, IFRS S1/S2 metrics, and GRI 304. The same asset also unlocks financial pathways: project finance against a forward credit stream, IR reporting with an on-chain audit trail, voluntary market trading, and Scope 3 supply-chain claims. One evidenced result, many downstream uses.

    TNFD
    LEAP narrative
Location-specific LEAP (Locate–Evaluate–Assess–Prepare) for the farming landscape, covering biodiversity dependencies and impacts
    CSRD E4
    ESRS E4 data
Biodiversity impact metrics, habitat area affected, SBTN-aligned targets and remediation evidence for CSRD mandatory reporters
    IFRS S2
    Nature risk metrics
Physical and transition risk exposure reduction evidence across all four S1/S2 pillars, audit-grade
    GRI 304
    Biodiversity responses
GRI 304-1 through 304-4 · habitats protected, species impacted, IUCN red list status, restoration area
    Project finance
Borrow against a forward stream of verified biodiversity and carbon credits, closing the financing gap at a competitive rate.
    Investor relations
Report verified nature-positive outcomes in IR, annual reports, and ESG supplements — with an on-chain audit trail.
    Supply-chain nature claims
Substantiate Scope 3 biodiversity and blue-carbon claims to buyers or regulators requiring location-specific evidence.
    Blue-carbon markets
Transfer or retire credits on voluntary carbon and nature markets with a full evidence trail attached to the token.
