    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Carbontribe platform ("Service"), operated by Carbontribe Labs OÜ ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

    2. Description of Service

    Carbontribe provides a digital platform for the measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of environmental and social impact data, including carbon credit issuance, project tracking, and related analytics tools.

    3. User Accounts

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

    4. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data; (c) transmit harmful code or interfere with the Service; (d) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or (e) resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization.

    5. Intellectual Property

    All content, trademarks, and data on the Service are the property of Carbontribe Labs OÜ or its licensors. You retain ownership of data you submit, but grant us a license to use it as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

    6. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carbontribe Labs OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

    7. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

    8. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.

    9. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
